Project Overview: This project demonstrates our commitment to support local human resources, particularly women, through the establishment of a hammock production initiative in São Tomé and Príncipe. The hammocks will be crafted using locally sourced materials, providing visitors with a unique, authentic product that embodies the culture of the region. Additionally, the project will explore opportunities to identify and develop new products that resonate with visitors' interests.

Goals:

  1. Empower Local Women: Provide training and employment opportunities for women in São Tomé and Príncipe, enabling them to develop skills in craftsmanship and entrepreneurship.
  1. Enhance Local Economy: Strengthen the local economy by creating sustainable income sources through the production and sale of hammocks.

Through this initiative, will contribute to the economic development of the population of São Tomé and Príncipe and also enrich the travel experience for visitors, creating a meaningful connection with the local culture while expanding its product offerings.
